Alan joined the firm in 1980 as a trainee, completing his Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Wollongong and progressing to Partner in 1992. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and has a deep interest in all facets of small and medium sized business’s leveraging off his considerable practical experience to assist our clients across a wide and diverse range of industry sectors.
Alan moved to Bowral in 1989 and opened the Bowral office of Daley & Co in 1999. He is married with two children and has a keen interest in all things outdoor, regularly camping in some of Australia’s most remote regions. He is an avid road cyclist and enjoys all sports, though likes nothing better than to see the Sydney Swans win a flag, the Wallabies beat the All Blacks and the Australian Cricket Team win the Ashes.
Alan stepped down as Partner on 1 January 2024, but remains with DALEY as a valued Business Advisor.
